Interviewer Jan Helfeld nails Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, (D) Nevada.

Helfeld’s point is undermined by which of the following?

A.  Bad tie
B.  Bad mustachio
C.  Bad hair
D. All of the above

If you answered D, you are correct.  If you answered, “No, Harry Reid makes a good point,” you are either blindly faithful to the Democractic Party, or you need to watch the video again and note reid’s definition of “voluntary.”

If you thought that the point was undermined by calling Reid an “idiot,” you get partial credit, but this is the internet.

Keith Olbermann delivers one of his special comments, calling out members of congress for their ties to major healthcare industry lobbyists.

Olbermann’s point is undermined by which of the following?

A. Hyperbole
B.  Partisan reputation
C.  Excessive pathos
D.  All of the above

If you answered D, you are correct.  He goes to reasonable lengths to criticize both sides of the aisle, but Olbermann is not a credible source.  He really can’t be unless the audience is made up entirely of people who already agree with him, in which case, it’s not so much rhetoric as entertainment.  That’s fine, I guess.  This is America.
